Current Goal

The mission of "Lady Express #30" is to travel to Egypt (a destination chosen by our 7 year old nephew) and return to California. Along the way she would like to ride the railways and stay in various Travel Bug Hotels.

About This Item

The Lady

This is the little engine that got over the hill...she turned 30! This Travel Bug is being activated on "Applesnack's" thirtieth birthday and was picked out by our three nephews (7, 5, & 3 years old) to commemorate this day. Please take lots of photos of her exploring the world and proving that life is a fun adventure on the other side of the hill!

Lovely little Lady!
I found her in a cache on real historic railway grounds: between the tracks of the old and the new "Anhalter Bahn".
Anhalter Bahmhof was one of the biggest old stations of Berlin. Here left all the trains towards the south: Leipzig, Munich, Italy...
And in a few month the new tracks will go into operation. A tunnel now connects the southern tracks of the Anhalter Bahn to the northwestern tracks of the Hamburg & Lehrter Bahn.
