About This Item

The Day of the Dead, Día de los Muertos, is a holiday celebrated in Mexico to remember the dead.  It begins on 31 October and ends on 2 November each year.  It coincides with our celebration of Allhallowtide, the first day of which is All Hallows’ Eve or Halloween.  This travel tag represents a sugar skull which is a colourful, iconic tradition associated with the Day of the Dead.  It started its journey during the Halloween celebrations in 2016.

We were in New York for a day and doing a little caching in Central Park when we came across this TB.
We are going to Mexico in March but it is still a bit too early for the Day of the Dead celebration so we will probably drop you off with someone in Oregon at an event and wish you the best on your travels.
