In honor of motogrrl (Leigh Ann Hussey), my personal goal will be to take this geocoin to visit all of motogrrl's still active geocaches, as well as any other memorial caches I find in my travels.
I had won this geocoin at the Welcome to the South Bay Happy Hour TB Swap event raffle on 10/16/2013. Some cachers sitting at my table asked if it was a memorial coin. "Memorial? Was she a local cacher? What happened?" I asked. That's when they told me her whole backstory.
Unfortunately I hadn't gotten into geocaching until quite a few years after her tragic motorcycle accidient so I never got to meet her. But I was so touched by the tragic story behind this former local geocaher that I am only going to be taking this coin to events to be discovered, and visits to other memorial caches I come across.
