This travel bug is an unwritten story book. Its mission is to travel the world picking up additions to the story. When the story is done, the bug should return home to Tamacache in West Virginia, USA.

The Story Bug

The Story Bug is a story that you can add to. If you pick up the bug, read the story so far, and add a page or two before you pass it on to the next cacher. When it's done, I'll post the whole story and start the sequel! (Even though it starts in English, feel free to add to it in your native language if you want to.)

If you email me or put in your log the part of the story you wrote, I can archive it in case the bug gets lost or damaged. Also, if someone wouldn't mind emailing me the first page that I wrote, since I forgot to make a copy, I'd appreciate it.

So sorry to see that this TB Owner, mpm, has marked The Story Bug as missing. In fact, this Travel Bug was personally handed to a well-known, long-standing North Carolina Geocacher at the NCGO Fall Fling on 24 October 2009. As the recipient is infamous for creative logs, I thought she would make some excellent additions to The Story Bug's saga. I will be contacting her to both log this Travel Bug and to move it along.

Yep, The Story Bug Travel Bug finally came home. 2 1/2 years of traipsing around the nation with tokyotako proved to be too much for this traveler. "Home", however, was just too small to accommodate The Story Bug. So, it's back into the evil clutches of tokyotako.
