This travel bug's mission is to traverse the world through the lense of entomology. Take or share photos of any insects you've spotted in your caching journey, even better if you manage to fit this travel bug in there too!
I adore bugs, little insect friends. Since a young age, I've befriended beetles in the garden, cared for the butterflies and moths I've caught, and researched a whole lot about these cool creatures. By far, my favorite I've come across was a stag beetle. I found it in my Baa-baa's garden, hiding under a leaf on a rainy day. In Japan, it is very common for kids to catch and realease stag beetles. We'd keep them in a roomy bug cage, endourned with habitat items that mimic the outdoors. We always provided some scrumptious beetle jelly for them to snack on. Then of course, the little friend is released a few days later.
I am a college student now, on my way to graduate with a bachelor's in science, majoring in environmental science. I do hope to partake in field research, maybe even aimed toward entomology. Who knows, only time will tell!
