Take me home for a few nights and hang me above your bed so I can help you dream in Peace. Then send me on my way. I would like to have my picture taken at Native American sites across America.

I'm so embarrassed... we just discovered this in the bottom of a backpack when we had gotten it from a cache in Inlet years ago.

Sorry about that. :(

Moved it to GCPW4Z today.

Bringing this one home, virtually, so I create a replacement for it. Sorry to see that Rukh's Egg disappeared. 😟

  • As we enter Salamanca "Nya:Weh Ske:No" is a traditional greeting for the native people of this area. It translates to "Are you well?"
  • In the woods Hiking Cockroach and I took a walk through the woods with Dreamcatcher TB before seeking out a cache. It was a lovely backdrop for photographing Dreamcatcher.
  • Keepers of the Western Door The Seneca Nation is known as the "Keepers of the Western Door" amongst the Haudenosaunee, meaning "people of the long house." This grouping of local native people is also known as the Six Nations, a group of six different tribes that together are stronger. Why? Take one arrow, and try to break it in half...easy. Take six arrows as a group, and try the same thing...nearly impossible! Together, there is strength.
  • Dreamcatcher in the Sunlight These woods are a perfect backdrop for Dreamcatcher TB. I think that this TB will enjoy its stay in Salamanca.

Hiking Cockroach handed DreamCatcher TB to me, and together we took it down to Salamanca, NY, where a Seneca reservation resides. It was in Salamanca that I was adopted into the Wolf Clan many years ago.

I picked this from A Devil of a Hike. This travel bug will definately come in handy as I haven't slept well these last few days. It looks very nice. My girlfriend Deb will take this travel to Salamanca. Before then though, I will have sweet dreams.

It's been a busy couple of weeks at work and we weren't able to take any more pictures of the Dream Catcher TB at Native sites, aside from the Tuscarora picture.

However, we did place the Dream Catcher in Devil's Hole Park, which is located in the Niagara Gorge, approx. 2 miles from Niagara Falls, NY and a stones throw from Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.

This area is sooooooo rich in Native American history that the Dream Catcher won't want to leave! Perhaps it's next companion can take more pictures of it's WNY adventures.
