Barry on Tour

Barry is a rock music fan who is particularly keen on his favourite band, Marillion. He has been funding his concert-going by opening bottles in bars, but he now seems to have become worn out with age! Please can you help him travel at no cost to see his favourite bands by taking him to caches near concert venues and places associated with rock music acts. Lots of photos for his album please.

Barry is a magnetic bottle opener - or at least he used to be until the bottle opening mechanism simply wore out!

He was available as Marillion merchandise at the time of Mariallion's 12th studio album, Anoraknophobia, released in 2001.

Anoraknophobia is noted as being the first ever album entirely funded by fans following a successful crowdfunding campaign. Pictures of Barry appear on the cover of the album. The retail version of the album contained a sticker of Barry and the inclusion of this sticker was one of two reasons why Anoraknophobia was inelligible to chart.

He appears all by himself on the cover of band-released Christmas album, "A Very Barry Christmas"

and he also appears on the cover of an album of fan remixes of tracks from the Anoraknophobia album called "Remixamatosis".
