Hemoglobin the deadly duck is on a mission to get miles and to "circulate" around the world. He is part of the deadly duck race. If your not familiar with the race, check our the geocaching website for more info Dont keep him, as this may cause a "blood clot" and possibly a "thromboembolism". Hemoglobin needs to stay moving, just like a "red blood cell" in the body. Dont cause a "blood clot" by keeping him too long. As long as he is moving, the "spleen" will not destroy him and remove him from "the body". The spleen removes dead and/or old red blood cells no longer needed in the body. The spleen has other functions as well but that's another lesson for another day. He MUST end his deadly duck race at a geocaching event on Aug 20th as his final destination. Remember Hemoglobin is ultimately in the deadly duck race.
This Deadly Duck is named Hemoglobin. As you will continue to read, you will notice words in parenthesis. Each of these words relates to hemoglobin. Hemoglobin is a component of the red blood cell. As you know, red blood cells "circulate" quickly through the body to provide oxygen to cells of the body. If red blood cells stop moving they can cause an "embolism" which in turn can cause a stroke. Red blood cells need to keep moving throughout the body so you can survive. If this deadly duck doesn't keep moving he can cause wrath to your health, such as a "thromboembolism". These can be deadly.
