Current Goal

To rampage across the North American Continent in a mostly east/west fashion meeting other mooses along the way. He tells me he also wouldn't mind visiting a nice pub on occasion.

If the current year ends in 0, 1, 4, 5, then move him WEST.
If the current year ends in 2, 3, 7, 8, then move him EAST.
If the current year ends in 6, then move him SOUTH.
If the current year ends in 9, then move him NORTH.

About This Item

This travel bug's hitchhiker is an oval metal fob attached to a keychain. On it there is the image of a moose named Broose in a wildlife setting. There is also a laminated tag with a short version of its mission.

Broose is a wanderer who seems to mostly head back and forth across the North American Continent. He would love to visit his kin all over as well as nip into a nice pub on occasion -- we have no idea why and he won't tell us. He's been known to bellow on occasion just because it makes him feel good.

Please help Broose on his moosey way as he zig-zags this way and that, occasionally calling out to any of his kin who may be nearby.

    Thank you to everyone who has helped the Broose the Moose travel bug in its mission. It's been great fun to see all the places it's been so far. I look forward to enjoying all the places it will visit in the future.

    It's been awhile since this travel bug has had a log entry. Does anyone know if it's still in the Dolly Sods cache or know its current whereabouts?

    This bug hitched a ride w/Mama Linda when she went to Beard's Fork, West Virginia with the Global Volunteers. Finding a new hiding place in the woods for Bruce the Moose was a great experience for them--- Pam, Jeanne and Megan had never geocached before-- and this bug bit them!
    West Virginia is beautiful, people are wonderful and the Global Volunteer experience was unforgettable!
