Hi ... I'm SPIKE and READY to RIDE THE RAILS of Geocaching! I've been told that I am hiustorical ... others have called hesterical! I come from the lower desert of California and was part of being the LAST SPIKE joing two large sections of railroad track (you can see the picture of the historical sign) ... anyways let show off together! Found this hefty and historical bug in a cache dedicated to a small RR line, and will place it in a cache I"m preparing dedicated to RRs soon. I'm planning on calling it "Choo Choo," and it will be an ammo can close the the SP line (the original one that met with UP in Promitory, UT) in Railhead Park in Auburn, CA. The cache will have lots of RR stuff inside. Appropriate, I hope!

Spikes goal was not clear to me on retrieval if he was coming from Southern California or Utah. I was hoping it was from Utah, since I have an excellent and appropriate cache for him to visit next in Sacramento. Hopefully this will not be backtracking? This is my first TB and plan to have him dropped next Sunday, November 26th.
