I dropped this cool Geocoin on the west side on Oahu in beautiful sunny Wai`anae. It's a nice warm spot to hang out while waiting for the next cacher to pick it up and move it along.

Hiking the Koolau Ridge mountains on the east side of the island of Oahu. It was rainy on the windward side but perfect weather on this trail above Mariner's Ridge. The views along the trail were spectacular.

Another great day of caching in Hawaii. Hanging with my friends turning new people onto Geocaching on a beautiful sunny day on the Big Island of Hawaii. It would be tough to find a more beautiful place to cache. You really do need a 4WD to drive to this one especially if you are going to continue on to View of Maui (GCHYJV) http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GCHYJV&Submit6=Go This was a very tricky hide you have to have good eyes 😉 You should also have long pants too, beware of the spiders 😮

This Geocoin is traveling from cache to cache with me on the Big Island of Hawaii. Another great day of caching in Hawaii. Hanging with my friends turning new people onto Geocaching on a beautiful sunny day on the Big Island of Hawaii. It would be tough to find a more beautiful place to cache. This cache was appropriately named for the Ironwood Trees were the cache was hidden. The Ironwood tree or (She Oak) is a sturdy hardwood tree that was introduced to Hawaii in the 1800's as a windbreak and to stabilize the soil and prevent corrosion.

Hanging with my friends turning new people onto Geocaching on a beautiful sunny day on the Big Island of Hawaii. It would be tough to find a more beautiful place to cache. This one took a little careful looking but persistence paid off. Great views from up here along the road. The cache should be fields of green instead of pot of gold 😉
