Hi, I am sure you have heard of me, so I don’t need to introduce myself. As you might have heard in the media,I have recently ended a 40+ year relationship my longtime boyfriend. Kenny and I tried to hold things together, but in the end, we both just knew our relationship was no more than a shell of what it once was.
So now that I am on my own and free for the first time since, oh, the 1960s, I have decided to travel. While I have done just about everything an independent and free-thinking single girl can do, there are still some sights in our beautiful country I have not yet seen. Each of the 50 states (and DC) has one sight or activity I have not yet seen or done, and today I am embarking on a quest to visit each state and do those things. If you can help me on my journey, please take me with you to one of my destinations, take my picture, log my journey (including my photo) at geocaching.com, and send me on my way.
I come complete with a list of my 51 adventures, one for each state and DC. If you decide to help me on my journey, please check off what I have accomplished so I don't inadvertently go to the same place twice! Also, if you wish to contribute to my wardrobe (I am dressed for California, my home), feel to put new clothes in my bag so I am always properly dressed.
Note on January 8, 2007: I've several requests to include the list of destinations, but couldn't find it (several computers ago)...but yay! I found it today. I am adding it to the cache page for y'all, and thanks for keeping Babs going!

Great TB. Saw it at fun geocaching going away party. Taking it to Aspen when I go with my friend to visit his parents.
Since Barbie had the cammo what better than to go hunting. She has a larger gun i her hand and a smaller gun in her blaze orange purse. Ready to hit the mountains of Aspen and go deer, elk, turkey, etc. hunting.

Had fun with Barbie... meant to bring her to the Birmingham city jail and a civil war battle site but alas I never got around to it... figured it was time for someone else to have some fun with barbie... She has been a little depressed lately and is getting into some weird things... I believe she is going Goth.. She demanded that I drop her off in the spookiest cemetery I could find so I obeyed... and believe me it is eerie... not to mention that the only way to do this one is in the dead of night.. Hopefully she will not be there too terribly long before someone gets her to less depressing surroundings

Barbie had a great time at Cades Cove hiking. Unfortunately due to a camera malfunction (ie dead batteries :( ) was unable to get any photos. Will be going to Birmingham city jail and civil war battleground in the next week then setting her free again to travel somewhere towards Georgia line. Thanks a lot for putting cades cove on the list. We had never heard of the place before we picked up the bug. And then it turned out to be the highlight of our trip to Gatlinburg :). Thanks again. Sorry to hold the bug for so long but at least she will be getting 3 goals accomplished :)

Retrieved her. We will be visiting the birmingham city jail. Then time permitting the civil war battlefield. If we accomplish both of these goals she will be accompanying us either to georgia or gatlinburg, TN. If I do not accomplish the civil war battlefield will drop her off elsewhere in Alabama. We will be leaving august 1 heading to gatlinburg so she will be hanging with us till then unless you would like otherwise. My wife gave her some more stuff. A suitcase, a new shirt, angel teddy bear, and a purse. She also changed her clothes because of the alabama heat. She is now in shorts and halter top. You will see them shortly when we take pictures of her visit to birmingham jail.
