My Granddaughter recently created her own Adventure Allie Sister to "Flat Stanley" and had me take it around for travel and have adventures. For two weeks Adventure had adventures being almost eaten by a giant mouse, captured by Big Foots, picking blueberries, kayaking, geocaching and climbing. She had fun with family and made knew friends. Then she returned to Morgan to tell all his stories. As part of his adventure it was Morgan’s wish that Adventure Allie would go to China As a continuation of her journey Opa, her Grandma, (myself) promised that she could travel with the help of her mini-me. That is the trackable that you have now retrieved. Please help Adventure Allie and Morgan make it to China. And please share all of his adventures along the way. It would mean a lot to have pictures of each step of her journey. When she makes it to China pictures of her adventure there would be most appreciated. Thank you for caring for her and helping this dream come true.
The Flat Stanley Project is an educational project that was started in 1995 by Dale Hubert, a 3rd grade teacher from London, Canada. The first children's book, Flat Stanley was published in 1964 with many more to follow, highlighting all of his adventures around the world. Children often connect with Flat Stanley as part of a school project. They receive their own Flat Stanley cutout that they design and dress (color) to their own liking. They may choose to take him on adventures or send to someone else to take on adventures. Flat Stanley's story is then told by the traveler including photos and souvenirs. Flat Stanley returns in a set period of time, usually a couple weeks and his story is shared with the rest of the child's class.
