    Dropped off Frog Went A Courtin' TB at Sunset. Photos show Frog happily in a riparian environment on the banks of the Rio Grande, central New Mexico.

    • Frog Enjoys Riverine Environment Water is the Rio Grande at the Stumps Riverine Park near Socorro, New Mexico.
    • Frog on a Cold-Blooded Day 11/29/07 cold and overcast. All the other frogs and toads are down in the riverbank mud. Fixin' to go to the Stumps Cache which is nice and dry and even gets some light. And no danger of a sandhill crane, great blue heron, egret, red-tailed hawk or golden or bald eagle getting ol' Frog. Those are what the humans get to see if they come here.
    • Frog on a Beaver Stump Yep, lots of beaver on the Rio Grande. When this was Mexico in the 1820s-40s the Americans were here trapping all the beaver, much to the chagrin of the Mexicans. They were also gathering intelligence for a thing called manifest destiny...

    Stopped by to drop off "Purdy's Arizona" TB, but then saw "Frog Went A Courtin'" so retrieved it. I'll take it over to a new nature-oriented cache on the Rio Grande called "Stumps" and also get a photo or two of it in that riverine ecosystem. There's frogs there but none like this.
