Current Goal

This geocoin is hidden as a sort of congratulations to the Alethiometrists in celebration of their 1K milestone. The Alethiometrists have found 1000 caches going to some of the most wonderful places in the world. When they find this coin in a stage of their 1K cache I will adopt it over to them and they may choose a goal for it. Again congratulations to the Alethiometrists. They are indeed Super Cachers and we cherish their friendship

About This Item

Thanks to Horsegeeks for the coin and the kind words - They are truly among the "super-est" of cachers around! For us, the most appropriate thing about this "SC" coin, on the occasion of our 1 K, is that we found our first cache in Sumter, SC, back in 2002. The icon for this coin even looks a little like the outline of South Carolina. Anyway, we'll leave this coin free to roam, so it can meet many more super cachers all around the world.

You might say this coin fits in well with the "Old MacDonald" cache, since two out of three Alethiometrists are Macdonalds (small 'd'). Thanks for showing us the land of our ancestors!

I picked this up in the morning and forgot to let all of the super cachers of the day, that came along to my CITO event to see him.
I'm sorry as this has made me feel as though I'm not such a super cacher, even although we all enjoyed ourselves immensely.
