High excitement, we have slightly detoured off the Thames Path walked into Bray so you can have lunch with Heston Blumenthal at his pub. Not that Heston was actually there of course but I'm sure he was present in spirit. And it wasn't the Fat Duck and the other one which both need months of reservations (Heston has a bit of a food empire going in Bray). Still, it was all good fun and the lunch was delicious. I meant to take a photo of you but forgot after the first wine. Hard to start walking again....

Another schlep for you up to the Thames Path. Day 6, Marlow to Windsor, 23km, Sunny and 18. The leaves are starting to turn. I've got the in-laws with me who do not like geocaching at all. I've told them to walk on ahead. The cache container was a Dalek - cute.

The in-laws have arrived from Melbourne and the husband has 'coincidently' gone away on a business trip to Vienna. Hmmmm. I've taken them for a walk from Richmond to Kingston and back on the other side of the Thames. Nice sunny day.

You've almost made it to Henley On Thames, famous for the rowing here. This cache is next to a house with its own model train which winds itself around the extensive gardens. It's big enough for people to ride. There's even a scale model of the St Moritz train station (of course).

Start of day 5 on the Thames Path, Reading to Marlow, 30km ish. I was reading the grid of distance and forgot it was in miles even though the guide is in kilometres so I had to cut my day short even though it was actually longer than anticipated. Metric people, its the only way. 18c.

We've driven up to Bedford to watch CuteOtter run in the south of England Road Relays. Then we had lunch at a cute pub and did a spot of caching.
