Chinese New Year - Year of the Rooster Geocoin

Now that we are moving into the year of the Dog I figured it was time for this one to hit the geotrails.

The mission is to hopefully get pcked up before the end of 2018 and keep on traveling for many years after.

On the face of the coin, the Fire Rooster bellows forth his arrival and trails fire in the 5 paths of his lucky number upward on onward. On the reverse is displayed the Cockscomb, the official flower of the Year of the Rooster. Surrounding the five blooms are the five traits of those born under this auspicious sign. Southern and Southeastern stars highlight the lucky paths of the year and the banner proclaiming "Happy Chinese New Year!"
