This Tb wants its picture taken on Bridges across America. It perfers ones with tunnels and old-fassion covered bridges. After traveling for 2 years it wants to come home to the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.

* Official Name: Lucius J Kellam, Jr. Bridge-Tunnel
* Route: US Route 13 connecting Virginia Beach/Norfolk to Virginia's Eastern Shore
* Total Length From toll plaza to toll plaza: 20 miles
* Depth of water along Route: 25-100'
* Date opened: Northbound - April 15, 1964
Southbound - April 19, 1999
* Total cost Northbound - $200,000,000 (financed by sale of revenue bonds. No tax dollars were used)
* Total cost Southbound - $250,000,000 (financed by sale of revenue bonds. No tax dollars were used)
* Trestles: Length 12.2 miles supported by concrete Piles
Tunnels: Thimble Shoal Tunnel 5,734 feet in length
Chesapeake Channel Tunnel: 5,423 feet in length
* Four manmade islands each with approximately 10 acres of surface, 30' above water
