Webfoot's Nametag

Got here a couple of minutes early this morning and there were a couple of people already waiting for me. That works. Got to meet some new cachers to the area and a couple of long distance cachers. Enjoyed the conversations with everyone and all of a sudden it was 9:15 and time to head off to the Spring Fling.

Thanks to everyone who attended this morning. It was nice meeting those of you who I hadn't met before and also good to catch up with some old friends too.

Next coffee event will happen on June first, location to be determined.

I got up early, thought about going after a First to Find over in San Dimas, then just decided to wait until later. Ended up getting over here in record time, so went inside and ordered breakfast. Ate my breakfast on the patio, then several people came over and the great conversations began. Nothing like sipping coffee and having enjoyable conversations with friends.

Next coffee event happens two weeks from today - Wake Up and Smell the Dark Side! - right before the Spring Fling.

I got up a little earlier than usual to head out to the event mainly because there's a traditional cache behind the venue that's been haunting me. So I left home a little bit early to see if I could grab that one before the event. About a half a mile from the event, I had to turn around because in my haste to get out of the house, I left the bug basket and more importantly, the log book back home. Sheesh.

Once those were retrieved, I headed back out and over to the traditional cache. I gave it a cursory look but couldn't see anything, so then just headed over to the event where I found a decent table and grabbed my morning cup of coffee. Soon people were coming in and we had a good time talking about different geocaching topics. At the conclusion of the event, we headed over behind the building where we were able to make the find on the traditional.

Two weeks from today, there's another event planned. Hope to see you all there.

I left my coffee event this morning right at 9:30 with Google Maps telling me it should take 23 minutes to get there. Just about 7 minutes before the event, I arrived in the parking lot to light sprinkles and just a couple of people so far in attendance. I think I was the fourth person there, beating everyone else who came from my event.

Lots of good conversations were had. It was good to meet the host and I was glad I was able to pass along a couple of geocoins to him to bring to Europe, including one that was owned by my very good friend chaosmanor who passed away last December. It will be good to see where that geocoin goes.

We also got to me two relatively new geocachers, Roblox_Manface and Swagineer. Nice to have met them as well. And it was also extremely nice to see that the rains held off until the end of the event before they opened up and drenched everything.

Thanks for hosting and I'm pretty much sure I'm going to make it to your event next weekend as well down in Anaheim.

I got here a little bit early and someone had already grabbed the one end of the table. Fortunately, they were nice enough to move after more of our caching group descended upon the coffee shop. Had a good group of people today and there were lots of geocaching stories were heard. And at around 9:30, we cleared out the place as most of us headed over to the second event over in Ontario.

Next month's event is being held at a new place, Lucky's Coffee Roasters in Claremont. It used to be a Starbucks and was where I held the first Wake Up and Smell the Coffee event.
