Current Goal

I'm moving from Madison, Wisconsin to Bellevue, Washington on May 10, 2004. But Chef Brooks won't be coming with me. Instead I'm placing him in a Wisconsin cache, and hoping that he'll catch up with me eventually in a Seattle-area cache. Though he is a friendly and amicable travelling companion who will take whatever rides--and whatever meals--he can get, Chef Brooks would love to make a stop at Lambert's Cafe in Sikeston, Missouri (http://www.throwedrolls.com/sikeston.html) somewhere along his journey.

My original owner was hoping that I could some day make it to Lamberts in Sikeston, Mo well next best thing happened! The family i've been staying with was heading through Ozark, Mo ,on way over to Joplin, where Lamberts 2 is at and they took me out for a nice lunch. Very nice restaurant! Glad i'm small and was able to stay low and out of the way of all the rolls that were being thrown around. Got my picture taken for my photo album to help me remember my journies. After a nice lunch was taken over to Joplin and left at a very nice Cache. Waiting in the darkness to see who comes and gets me next!

Found him in Mammoth Springs, Ar. Will hold him for a few days and keep him warm and dry till I can find a new good place to send him to. Looking at doing some geocaching over in southwest corner of Mo next month and will try to get him a good spot over there.

  • Chefmobil on the road again I have been taken good care of and want to thank all that have taken care of me so far. I am enjoying my travels from state to state and hope to stay on the road much longer. I am currently staying with a paramedic that found me in an Arkansas State Park and is letting me live with him for a little while. Found the Travel Bug in the Talimena Treasures Rich Mountain Cache. Too bad we weren't going in reverse for we (tantillos.com and I) were in Sikeston Mo. just the day before.I shall move this travel bug along, somewhere in So.Ark.
