Sabriel

Sabriel decided to give the wilds of the Canadian Wilderness another try. This was a real adventure, taking 9½ hours to reach the cache from the head of the trail and return again. This was also the first time anyone had visited this cache for over 2 years given its remoteness. Sabriel decided that the slight accessibility problem with this location might preclude it from being terribly effective as a resort spot and so decided not to stay.

Sabriel is getting a bit confused as to what to do next have had the run around from various government departments in two countries, nearly landing up in jail, nearly getting eaten by a prehistoric monster and finding really remote lakes. She will be thinking hard over the next couple of weeks and sharing her thoughts with her fans...

Heard there was an Erie Canal nearby - not the kind of canal Sabriel was used to however. No time to take photos 😟 though.

Having been sent to fill out numerous forms at the EPA to apply for an environmental assesment for the Venetian Resort Sabriel was advised that taxes would have to be collected on the venture and so was sent down the road to visit the IRS. Upon leaving, had a brush with a prehistoric creature that could easily have mistaken Sabriel for an edible plant. Sabriel made a very quick getaway.

Sabriel believed that the Department of the Interior would be interested in the Venetian Resport idea so paid a visit here - in typical government style they shuffled her off to the EPA to sort out the Environmental issues first.

Sabriel figured that after her earlier brushes with bureaucracy she should just try to circumvent all that stuff and go straight to the top. This was as close as she could get to Dubya, however, because of all the security - so decided to make the round of all the government departments instead in the hope of working up to the top.
