Sabriel

Since the Green Bubble was close to Lake Ontario, Sabriel thought the proximity of the water and the international aspect of a lake that has a border running through the middle of it was interesting - so dropped in for a visit. The nearby communications facility was useful in reporting back to home base on the results of the search to date. There were plenty of interesting water sports in the vicinity that had probably never been seen in Venesia before but the Toronto skyline was not very Venetian. So - decided to take the ferry across to Rochester, NY to see if the other side of Lake Ontario would provide some complementary facilities were the resport to be established here. On second thoughts, why not make the WHOLE LAKE the resort? Nothing wrong with thinking big. Hmmm - food for thought...

Thought this would be a good place for a resort but upon investigation and after consulting with Oliver the Otter http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=46cfeb21-a3e0-44a7-b64d-1fd01e913b1d decided that there would be too many mosquitoes around for much of the season to make this a viable commercial proposition.

The whole neighbourhood sighed with relief that the ideas learned on the recent fact finding mission to Florida would not be put into effect in this part of the Canadian Wilderness.

After her brush with the Authorities in Toronto she thought she'd pay a trip down south and see if things were more conducive to setting up a resort there. Found a great spot with lots of water but was dismayed to find that a very large corporation had pretty much locked up all the land around here for similar types of venture.

Gave up and flew straight back to Canada.
