The "Childrens Hospital Central California" Travel Bug is a key chain from the hospital of the same name. The hospital's mascot is a giraffe named George. On the back of the key chain is a picture of Air George, the air-medivac helicopter, flying in front of the hospital. Some of you may know this hospital by its former name, Valley Children's Hospital, which is located at N 36° 53.084' W 119° 48.033'.

Walkabout grabbed this bug on our 10th anniversary trip, but shortly thereafter lost track of it. We are in middle of a very large cleaning project, and I just found this in a box that had been riding around in her car. It will go into the next suitable cache I visit.

By the way, during its time with Walkabout, this bug surely visited Children's Hospital in Seattle several times. Our 5-year-old son is still battling JRA, currently (and recurrently) in his eyes. We do so appreciate the good folks at our Children's. Sorry about keeping the bug so long.
