About This Item

The original La Tortuga is sitting on my desk. This is a blatant fraud. Somehow the Bug Resuscitator has hijacked my tag in a an act of treacherous bug piracy. I cannot answer to the character of this bug. It might have salmonella for all I know. I would keep this thing in a hermetically sealed container.

    Recieved this bug at the fall fun day. When I realized this was a fraud I e-mailed the origional owner and asked him what I should do. He mailed me the origional tag and I have now put it on the imposter. I will send it out ASAP! Thanx to the owner for mailing me the tag!

    I found the travel bug in a cache close to I-10 (Yellow Dog Cache), and saw that he wants to go to Mexico. Well, I live in Yuma, Arizona, right along the border, and was going to drop it off in a local cache. I just read the story about how you go to Algodones, and that's where he started from, and I live basicly right across the river!! So, do you want me to hang on to him so you can retrieve him, or do you want me to drop him in a cache??

    Finding this travel bug was a great reward for a difficult cache find. Hazard and I took it home to see where it wanted to go. We were very surprised to find out that it wants to go exactly where I am going next week 😁
