Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a favorite of ours and we wish we could visit it more often. When this coin became available we picked one up right away and decided to send out a virtual copy of it to encourage others to learn about and visit that park.

Found this cool geocoin while on our annual Acadia National Park vacation. On a day when it was too rainy and foggy to paddle or bike, we decided to do some geocaching. The Somes Sound picnic area is one of our favorite paddling put-in spots, so it was good to visit there even if we weren't paddling that day. We will drop the cache in Western Mass when we complete our vacation.
