Finnegan the fiddler is trying to return home to Dublin, Ireland for a visit. Along the way, he would like to visit other areas of interest to an Irish musician.
Finnegan was born in Dublin. He came to live with me in the San Francisco Bay Area after a friend visited Ireland. Now I will be going to Ireland in September 2004. I thought it would be fun to see if Finnegan could get there before me. It would be great if Finnegan's traveling companions could post photos from stops along the way. Erin go braugh! Well, it took 6 years and 11 months, but Finnegan finally made it back to the Emerald Isle. Huge thank you to Henparty for running the final leg! I hope Finnegan gets a chance to explore his beautiful homeland.

Discovered this, but left in place to continue its journey to Dublin.
Picked up in beautiful East Cheshire. I may have an opportunity to get it really close to holyhead and the ferry to Island. I'll see what I can do.
