Coin

Alert, Nunavut, is the most northerly inhabited settlement in the world. With coordinates 82°28' N, 62°30' W, it is only 817 kilometres away from the North Pole. Alert is located on the northeastern tip of Ellesmere Island in the Canadian Arctic. Alert, originally inhabited by the Inuit, was born as a joint Canadian, US weather station in 1950.

On April 29 we found the geocoin in cache GCYRCM "De Smurfen" by "Kraaiennest" In Deurne, The Netherlands. But nobody logged it. We took it with us to our city Gouda, The Netherlands. There we left it on April 30 in GCVT9C "Bloemendaalseweg" by "Ma+R+J+A".

Found it two weeks ago! Sorry, did not log it yet. SO just a note that we retrieved it from the Pierenparadijs (Leiden) and put it back in De Smurfen (deurne).
