Chomp

Like other sharks, Chomp constantly stays in motion in order to survive. However, he has a super power: the ability to walk on land! Yes, that's right. Chomp is a "walking shark" also known as an epaulette shark, Hemiscyllium ocellatum. He can not only walk along the ocean floor and coral reefs, but can walk over land. He can go for short periods of time with little to no oxygen. He is native to Indonesia, but has cousins, other walking sharks (who can walk along the ocean but are not so great at travelling on land) found throughout Australia, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. These are commonly referred to as bamboo sharks, carpet sharks, or epaulette sharks, Hemiscyllium spp.
