Coin

Alert, Nunavut, is the most northerly inhabited settlement in the world. With coordinates 82°28' N, 62°30' W, it is only 817 kilometres away from the North Pole. Alert is located on the northeastern tip of Ellesmere Island in the Canadian Arctic. Alert, originally inhabited by the Inuit, was born as a joint Canadian, US weather station in 1950.

Working on my passport and found this treat in the cache! Wonderful coin. Will move it along. Also a beautiful spot here.

And I now see where the Wilton holepunch for the passport went. Ugh. (I'm thinking they need to secure those to the container like the containers are tied down) Another blank spot on my passport...we will see if they accept a photo as proof....
