Dorothy Dartel

Ik heb nu een paar jaar rondgereisd van cache naar cache en wil nu graag naar huis toe. Graag wil ik naar een cache dichtbij Geertruidenberg (Noord Brabant) I have travelled for a few years and it would be nice if I go home for a while. Please let me travel to a place nearby Geertruidenberg (Noord Brabant, Netherlands)

Dorothy Dartel de eend en Dappere Dodo de kikker kwamen elkaar tegen in een hollandse sloot.
Aangezien daar niet zo veel te beleven was en zij beiden nogal avontuurlijk zijn ingesteld, gingen ze in de winter van 2004 samen op pad.
Zij kochtten een bootje, maar strandden al gauw op het ijs.
Na hun bootjes aan ons te hebben verkocht, vertrokken zij te voet verder om de wereld te gaan verkennen.
Zij beloofden ons om regelmatig wat te laten horen van hun belevenissen onderweg.
En zelfs foto’s op te sturen van de plaatsen waar zij zijn geweest.
Helaas was het eerste en laatste bericht wat we ooit hebben gekregen niet zo leuk.
Dorothy en Dodo hebben fikse ruzie gehad en zijn ieders hun eigen weg gegaan.
Taal noch teken hebben we sindsdien van hen vernomen.
Diegenen die Dorothy of Dodo ergens signaleren, willen die a.u.b. contact met ons opnemen zodat wij weten dat het goed gaat.

Dorothy Dartel the duck and Dappere Dodo the frog, had met each other for the first time in a dutch ditch.
Because there was nothing to see around in the near aria, they decided, in the winter of 2004 to go on an adventure around the world.
They bought a sailboot for this trip, but soon they have stucked on ice and couldn’t go any further by boot.
After they had sold the boot to us, they went on, going by feet.
They promised us before leaving that they’ll send pictures and let us know, where they are going to.
Sadly, the first and last note we’ve ever got from Dorothy and Dodo wasn’t so good.
They have had a fight and each one had gone further alone.
Since than we’ve heared nothing.
