This was a uniquely themed cache. You were supposed to bring a 3x5 picture of yourself and leave it in the album w/ your log. The trail around this lake was not well marked and the water level of the lake was very low. We managed to get off trail and lost a few times, but managed to get back to the trailhead safely.

We came to the lake w/ the intention of putting our kayak in the water. However, the strong winds forced us to change our plans. We hiked the perimeter of the lake (4.5miles) and cached while we did it....the bugs needed the exercise. 🙂
