The Sandia mountains are on the east side of Albuquerque. There is a tram to the top, but tickets were sold out for the holiday weekend. We drove up, instead, and cached along the way. We didn't find any at the peak, itself, but this cache is over 10,000 ft. We also took a picture with the bugs on the peak, with Albuquerque in the background.
