"PLUCKY" Chicken-On-The-Run

While unpacking our grocery bags, this featherless, goose pimpled, shivering creature flopped into our lives incoherent and screaming "meat cleaver, meat cleaver"! After calming this naked bird down, he shared his "fowl" story. Plucky, as we now call him, was raised from an egg on the "Boneless Chicken Ranch" to be grown as a finger lickin' delight. Plucky learned that "the bigger you are, the faster you're eaten". So he dieted down to what you see today. Unfortunately, the rancher (still profit-bound) sold him as a chicken strip. He managed to escape the butcher in our local grocery and apparently into our goods!

So here he is A WANTED CHICKEN ON THE RUN. We nursed him back to his fractured senses. And then another shock! We were most distraught to find that our secret hideaway had been infiltrated by another CHICKEN EATER living with us.

We now realize the only safety for Plucky was to tag him with a travel bug and put him on the geocache "Chicken Undergound". This way, we will know he is safe with the hope he will return for a visit one day. Fare thee well, Plucky!!!

GEOCACHERS UNITE ! Please don't keep Plucky anywhere too long for fear of discovery…oh, and eat more beef!

Found PLucky in Max's napping place.... Plucky has decided that it is time to return to Florida (needs a tan....bad) We decided that Plucky should travel in style. He will first travel to Seattle for a few days then off to Walt Disney World! Plucky wants to try some things like Mission: SPACE before hiding again. Plucky said to tell you all that we will check in with a full story of his trip once completed. PLucky is hoping to find a nice quite, warm spot to hide in at Walt Disney World (after all, mice don't eat chickens).
