ERROR -- I mistakenly logged this coin into the "Trailin' by Bolin" cache (GCR03Q), but actually I physically placed it into a different cache nearby, the "Chapel Hill Travel Bug Cache" (GCWXCE). I've asked the owner to send me the secret number (which I failed to write down), and will fix the bookkeeping when I get the number; or maybe the owner will fix it. In any case, it is in Chapel Hill, N.C., so the mileage is very nearly correct. Sorry for the mistake!

Wow, this coin's been around! But there are still some states it hasn't visited yet, and we'll take it to one of them soon. Picked it up this morning in the woods by a duck pond outside our neighborhood public library in San Diego. The Christmas-like weather today: 72 degrees and sunny!
