Mouse’s Tank -Natural Watering Hole: Hiked Out to the watering hole this morning but it’s getting hot quick. Saw lots of lizards and a bat! Also saw lots of animal tracks.

Bright White in the Middle of Fire: We Headed Out first thing this morning before it got hot (stayed in the park at the campsite over night). Saw some kangaroo rat tracks and sheep poop but only saw live ants. Really enjoyed the slot canyon and it amazes me how the colors contrast one another in such close proximity.

Mouse Trails: Lost my signal here but had the description and hint saved to did process of elimination and made the find. What I didn’t find were any petroglyphs along the trail (I did see real mouse trails-well kangaroo rat ones anyway).

Jeffery’s valley of fire earthcache: After I set up my campsite at the Arch Rock campground, I walked over here to take a look at the petroglyphs. It amazes me how long they have stood the test of time. This summer I also went to Petroglyphs National Park. So cool. I’m afraid of heights so it was a challenge for me to get close but I did it.

Arch Rock: First I want to say that Sept 29 is Nevada State Park Day and it was free not only to visit but also to camp. I stayed up the road at the Arch campground and it was beautiful.
