Minitaur is a distant relative of the Minotaur, on his father's side. The Minotaur was the half-bull, half-human offspring of Pasiphae, wife of King Minos of Crete. With the help of a craftsman named Daedalus, King Minos constructed an elaborate, confusing structure called the Labyrinth. Its function was to hold the Minotaur.
