About This Item

Monster Mash-Red

Red requests to relay him from cache to cache. There is no restriction on where Red wants his route to be, he just wants to reside in a really wide range of residences. Thanks for retrieving him and releasing him to reach random destinations. Red requests to post a photo of his rendezvous if it is relatively reasonable.

Added note: The owner of this TB had it locked in 2021. 2 years later, the owner contacted us and said he had been out of touch. He unlocked it and I back dated it to when exchange was made.
Whew......... what we will go through to revive/rescue a TB. :-)

Grabbed it from AthroughZ
Lost and found :-)
Once upon a time in 2008 there was a happy family that learned about geocaching. They took their etrex GPS with them on many adventures that summer of happy memories looking in bushes and uncovering rocks. One day the happy boy found a mysterious disc with a code. " What's this?" he thought, and into his backpack  it went. Once school started outdoor adventures were put aside. Many years later, the boy grows up to be a 21 year old young man sitting at his job near a 61 year old grandma. Monday comes along and the female co-worker exchanges a few moments of weekend banter. She tells the young man that she and her husband were out geocaching they weekend... The young man looks at her with a surprise, memories come flooding back to him and he says " I know what what is, 13 years ago I had so much fun"...
Later he searched at home  and brought his treasure to me. The moral of this story is two fold: never give up hope on lost items and always remember great conversations can start with random people just by taking time to say "what did you do this weekend?"

End note: I gifted him a premium membership and he became geocacher, AthroughZ. He fizzled out not to long after that. Oh, well.....I tried :-)
