Current Goal

EEEK!! I think I might be jinxed...
I was on my way to the Port Mandurah Postbox cache in WA – GCZ5CG to visit Kida, but Kida died unexpectedly and the cache was muggled!

So, now I have a new goal...
I would like to travel the world visiting lots of caches and meet cachers along the way that have also experienced a loss. If you have lost a pet, please make mention of your beloved pet in your log. If possible a photo would also be a good way to help keep their memory alive.

Thanks for helping me on my journey, Tealby

I came to the ACT with Kida (Blue Burmese pictured) when I visited my good buddy Biggles (Chocolate Burmese pictured), but I was left behind when Kida returned home.

This trackable has been in my possession since Nov 2008, so I'm not sure how it is being discovered. I suspect someone has written down an incorrect tracking code and shared with others. Logs are being deleted.

Dropped off some other cat TBs at the Cat's Whiskers, but it is time for me to hide away for a while...

I was most surprised to come across my TB in a GCA cache (so hence could not be logged in there). Naturally I had to collect him - he was very "chatty" in the car filling me in on his adventures!

Retrieve It from a Cache 9/1/2008 MC KENNA retrieved it from Fore!ming Paw Behaviours Australian Capital Territory, Australia   Visit Log

Found this one with one of my work colegues who looked over my shoulder "Is that here???" YUP 150m from the construction site I'm working on today. Thought the cat pics were cute but might not like being left at such a doggy place.

We have had many pets most of them are the ones people dump or just not interested in any more. We had until recently an odd dog "John Doe" (we didn't know his name) who was the most gentle and loving dog. When he came to us he was missing an ear and was terrified of men. Hubby took on feeding him and making sure he had plenty of nice bloke attention and as John Doe was quite young a lot of the damage was undone.

He raised ducklings (Mother duck died and they all snuggled up with John Doe) He also taught my daughter to walk by allowing her to hold his fur and use him for a walker. She also prefered to sleep in his basket. He has lived with so many different creatures that seem to come through our place. Roo, rabbit, ducks, chooks, sheep, magpie all happily shared house and yard and never did he ever think to eat any of them. Cages were not required.

RIP John Doe
