Current Goal

Hi! My name is Tropicana Citrus and I have a sad tale to share. My parents moved to the Bahamas when I was 5, leaving me to live with relatives in Springfield, MO. I would love to be able to live a life of luxury in the sun and swim in the deep blue. Could you please help me make my way to the Bahamas to visit my parents, and then send me on to other sunny places, such as: Hawaii, Florida and California? Thanks for allowing me to hitch a ride with you!

About This Item

This travel bug was sent out into the world by the Wednesday, Science Everywhere 4th and 5th graders at Phelps Center for Gifted Education in Springfield, MO as part of a unit on GPS and Geocaching. Thanks for helpin this little guy move along on his trip.

This was my first cache find and was so excited. I loved the hiding place. It was perfect, not only was it a first find, but it was on an important first date---so it was quite exciting. Perfect day, perfect date, perfect find, perfect little travel bug. I promise that I will help this little hitch-hiker get to where it wants to go! Stopped by on my way home from visiting the grandkids at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, to see if anyone wanted a ride. This TB was the only one waiting for a lift, and I am glad to help it along. Somewhere along the way it has lost its identifying paper tag, but I'll print out one and attach it before dropping Tropicana Citrus somewhere.
