I am a siren, so I would love to visit places that inspire love, are full of music, or are near bodies of water. Photos are always appreciated! :)
There are many myths and legends concerning beautiful human-like creatures of the sea. My favorite story, though, comes from a comic series called Siren's Lament. In this story, the sirens are lonely creatures that roam the seas in search of a human with a broken heart. The sirens will lure these agonized humans with promises of a new life where all pain and heartache will be forgotten. The price: a trade. The human takes the siren's place and leaves behind all memories of their human life, while the siren gets her/his legs back and another chance at life on shore.
I enjoy the depth and purpose Siren's Lament gives these beautiful creatures. What is your favorite mer-tale?
