Dropped off "Kids & the Great Outdoors" TB as the Great Smoky Mountains and the surrounding area are a place everyone should visit.

  • Entrance to Park Has to be one of the most photographed spots!!!
  • Covered Bridge near Pittman Center
  • Hygrophorus appalachiensis One of many beautiful types of fungi found in the Smokies.
  • An Island of the North in the South The great diversity of the Smokies provides species found nowhere else except in areas further North such as New England.  It is one of the worlds biodiversity hotspots!!!
  • Pholiota squarrosoides  Yet another beautiful mushroom!!!
