Ben's Dodge Charger Racer

This racer is in a race with Pa's Astro Racer, PJ's Travelin' Tiger Jeep Racer, Seth's Speedy Greeny Racer, and SJ’s Racing Tiger to see who can accumulate the most points during various intervals.  However, to borrow from Peter, Paul, and Mary, "Dragons live forever, but not so little boys..."  Our cachehounds grew up and are remarkable young men now, but alas, caching as a family has mostly come to an end.  :(  We had a blast!!!  Today (10/7/12) we calculated the final race results and they are posted below.  It was a great race (THANKS EVERYONE!!!)

Now, may all travel bugs enjoy their travels wherever they may roam.  We'll still be watching and enjoying - just no more racing.  Happy travels all!

To collect points, the racer has to visit different states/provinces/countries. Points were assigned randomly - see list below (countries will be assigned as visited - randomly).

If a racer leaves a state, then returns to it, they will receive half the original points in addition (ie if the state had 40 points for a 1st visit, the 2nd visit will result in an additional 20 points, etc). One point will be given for each additional cache within a state.

At the end of the heat, the highest point leader wins and a new one begins.
