Current Goal

The Richmond Rally IV great travel bug race. Starting June 9 and ending when the New Year's Eve ball drops in New York City on midnight December 31, 2007. The winner is the TB that travels the farthest by that time. Let the race begin. Bugsy the TB would like to see how other bugs live in other parts of the world. Let me hitch a ride in your suitcase. Update: Bugsy won the race with over 25,000 miles. Yea!!!He still wants to see the world and will eventually come home. His current mileage is over 30,000. Let's just see how far he can travel.

As of November 22, 2011 Bugsy is still in action.  The only one of the many travel bugs that I have sent out.  He now has over 43,000 miles on him.  Keep him away from the US as travel bugs seem to disappear here.  At some point he may want to come home, but I love it that he has been traveling for about 4 years.



About This Item

I literally am a bug, soon to be a traveling bug. I'm encased in some sort of plastic, which keeps me forever young. Actually, as far as bugs go I'm rather a handsome fellow.

    We just wanted to thank all of you on helping Bugsy win this race. So far he has the most miles and it would be a miracle if anyone else in the race could surpass him at this point. After the race is over I would like for him to come home. We have a TB hotel in Marshall, VA. Keep me posted on his whereabouts and I will also make an announcement after the race is over tomorrow night. Thanks again.
