Time For Some Tea

Updated Mission: A Picture of the Clapham North tube station would be cool. Then Maybe travel back home to Sonoma County Californa, USA to Meet up with her Sister TeaCups. Now that we have a child, she can have a complete set and we can share with her the story...

I'd like to have my picture taken at the place my owner proposed to his wife, Claridge´s in London England. A Picture of the Clapham North tube station would be cool too. After that It would be great to travel around England for a while and up to Edinburgh, Scotland.

Many moons ago My Wife (girlfriend at the time) did one of those work abroad programs and took off to London England for 4 months. I figured that this would be a great time to go over to London and propose to her. After 3 days with the ring burning a hole in my pocket we had
Afternoon Tea at Claridge's. It is a really nice 5 star Hotel & Restaurant in London England. It has been almost 10 years since we have been there and would be great to see the place again. To have Tea there you must be in 'Smart Attire'. I learned the hard way. They were kind enough to loan me a jacket. It was a really nice place to have tea. The food and tea were wonderful and the staff was stellar. I had the head waiter present the ring on a silver platter and proposed. She never really said yes, though there was a nod and the mumbling on ahuhh… So I took that to mean yes. (-;

It was the best week oh my life. (so far) Being alone with someone you love in a foreign place… There is nothing like it. We then headed up to Edinburgh, Scotland for thanksgiving. Now if I could only remember the name of that place we stayed there…
