  • About This Item

    Baltic Hitchhiker

    As a participator in a race, there are certain special rules which has to be followed. You can find them on this website. The most important ones are:

    1. Each Travel Bug racer has to travel the race track in the order of locations mentioned above. A location is visited by a Travel Bug if it is logged in a cache within the location.
    2. Each geocacher is allowed to move a racer only once. A move is the transfer from one geocache to another. Please do not move or hold more than one participant at a time.
    3. Please give each participant a fair chance to win the race, that means please do not interfere. (An interference would be the placing of a Travel Bug in a cache rarely visited due to difficult access or special gear that is needed. We consider also "Member Only"-Caches as interference as they are accesible only by a part of the geocaching community.)
  • This Travel Bug wants to travel. So if you can help this Travel Bug to get closer to his goal, we encourage you take it with you even if there are cache rules which disallow you to do so. This TB does not want to visit events.

    So, der TB wandert mit mir zunächst in Richtung Osten, gen Rostock / Stralsund. Ich hoffe, ich kann ihn dort in einen passenden Cache legen, damit er weiterreisen kann.

    fand den in PL in einem halb kaputten cache, der offen in der pampa rumlag, da hab ich ihn (trotz meiner cachereparatur) mal mitgenommen auch wenn ich leider nicht nach litauen komme ... ich schau mal ob ich jemanden auftreibe ansonsten pack ich ihn wieder in einen cache wenn ich das naechste mal in PL bin (vermutl mai) - ich hoffe das ist im sinn eures rennens, ich wollte vermeiden, dass der TB komplett verschwindet ...
