Eagle Dog Tag

This TB is attached to a coin received when I visited the USCG Barque Eagle (a neighbor was serving on her at the time). We received this as a token. Now we are sharing it with everyone.

this poor bug has been sitting patiently waiting for a sailor. Will take it to NJ to meet one. Added a picture of my favorite sailor, my dad. US Navy Reserves 1944-46 and 1950-52. He served on the USS Winston, stationed out of San Diego. He's quite a guy.

I took this TB from the hollow of a tree near Raleigh, North Carolina. I don't think it was anywhere near sailors or places to sail. We will bring it back to New York State and perhaps to our boat. It isn't a sailboat but we still are sailors.
