Current Goal

SCUBA is starting his trek from the most unlikely of places - considering his goal. He would like to make a journey from the heartland of America - Kansas - to as many oceans/seas/bodies of water as possible. Ultimately, SCUBA would like to visit a multitude of underwater caches.

About This Item

Scuba

If you are able to take SCUBA past a body of water, please snap a picture of him playing! If you are lucky enough to be able to get him into an underwater cache, be certain to let us know!

Happy journeys, SCUBA!

Very surprised to find this beautiful travel bug in a cache along the Demster Highway in around dthe Tomestone Park area! It was not registered as being in Cache GCK688 so perhaps whoever left it could log it as it will not correctly caculate the miles correctly for the bug's journey.

Will find a new home for it shortly!

😁 Found Scuba next to the beautiful Seymour River, in North Vancouver, BC. Scuba has asked to go North with us in mid August to the Dempster Highway & Dawson City (Top of the World Cache - 475 miles from Inuvik and the Arctic Ocean). Meanwhile we promise to take care of Scuba and let him/her be by the water.👍

Picked Scuba TB up in Port Moody, BC, Canada right at sea level. However, right now we are having unusually low low tides so there is a lot of beach around. Look for Scuba to tour around the Vancouver area before finding a new home.

Finally dropped SCUBA off. Apollogies for the hiatus, SCUBA got temporarily forgotten while I was completing my degree. It's back in the wild!

Picked up SCUBA while on a sailing vacation through the Gulf Islands and the San Juans. SCUBA had a great time hanging out on our boom, watching the various straights and channels go by. (Rosario, Georgia, President''s, and several others). Will attempt to find him a nice new rest stop in an under water cache when we return to Canada. :) Pics to follow.

  • Scuba On Boom SCUBA hitching a ride on the boom of Sagres, our Sailboat. This picture was taken while SCUBA was helping us try to catch the wind accross Rosario Straight. • SCUBA at the entrance of the hyperbaric chamber At long last, SCUBA was discovered hiding in my bedroom. However, he was found just in time to be taken on a 30 minute dive to 130' in a hyperbaric chamber as part of a research project. SCUBA should be back in the wild soon!
