Current Goal

To go from cache to cache, cacher to cacher, without getting swiped. I love chasing real geocoins and am disappointed at finding "replica" paper or plastic coins. I understand why peaple do replicas, but its not the same thrill as finding and holding a genuine. This is a REAL, in the wild coin, enjoy and move it along. Pictures with your dogs would be great! Thanks!!

About This Item

The Big Dawg (DEXTER)

This is a "Initial Point" Geocoin. The history is on the reverse side of the coin. The unique thing about this coin is its size and weight. The only two words I can thing of to discribe it is "Manhole Cover".

:) I hope every coin in the area is not brought down to woodstock. Would have loved to find this in a cache. Thanks for the discovery.

Your Geocoin was retrieved from the 2007 Maine Pirate Quest today. We are traveling to Geowoodstock in late May. Would you rather this out in a cache (if one can be found under the snow) quickly or to travel to a more major destination/distance event such as Geowoodstock in late May. If you would like this Geowoodstock bound is there a special area of the country or World this should travel?

Have to say this is the largest coin I have ever seen. It's awesome and we will take a photo with our dog soon.
