About This Item

Leo the Lizard

Leo (AKA Iggie the Iguana) was found hanging out in a cache. Unfortunately, it was no where near a zoo or wild animal park where he could play with the other animals. His new owner adopted him and made him a travel bug so that he would get to move around.

NOTE Posted by Woffie 7/11/04: I just wanted to provide you with the history of where this lizard came from. (I am the original owner who dropped it into the Tiny Turtles cache). I went to Cuenca Ecuador in December of 2001 to visit my family who spent a year and a half there volunteering. They made friends with an Ecuadorian lady who owned a souvenir shop who gave me this key-chain as a gift when I met her. He loves to travel, so it's very fitting that he has become a travel bug!

07/20/04 Mommy and Baby Dragon dropped Leo at this cache because it is a nice park/lake, even though it is not a zoo.

He is hanging out with Dirk the Duck TB and Yack TB for a few days while we find a good place for him to travel to. At least he is not as big and will fit in more caches. If he was a "live" lizard our cat would be more interested in him.
