Goodbye Segredos do Ursinho Puff, it’s time to let you go. You’ve travelled further east to Moe. it’s time to let you go. Next stop on the road trip was the Gippsland town of Moe to the east of Melbourne. A major local industry is based around the brown coal deposits in the Latrobe Valley east of Moe and electricity generation. Good luck! 🔌

Next stop on the road trip was the Gippsland town of Warragul to the east of Melbourne. Warragul (or warrigal, worrigle, warragal) is a New South Wales Indigenous word from the Darug language meaning wild dog or dingo. We stopped at a TB Hotel and saved about ten that had been there for over four years including one of my own. I’d marked it missing years ago. Poor things. 🐕

Back into Melbourne and then across to the eastern suburbs to catch up with friends and borrow their camping gear since Geoson has taken my Australian supply. A fun night. 🍹

Seeing Mother Wombat and had time to get to the beach at South Werribee. The area is also popular with recreational fishers. An interesting piece of trivia - around 70% of Australia's lettuces are grown in Werribee South. 🥗

Welcome to Australia, my home country. You are in my home town of Melbourne, Victoria, now Australia’s most populous city. Off the plane and straight into the city to see geoson at university. I have not seen him for several months. 🇦🇺

You went for a stroll around the Singapore harbour and up to the pool at the Marina Bay Sands, one of Singapore’s landmark buildings. Great view from the top. Then you enjoyed the peaceful non-touristy end of Gardens By The Bay before heading to the airport. No otters were spotted. I look for them every time I come to Singapore but I never see them. 🪷

Selamat datang ke Singapura! 欢迎来到新加坡! சிங்கப்பூருக்கு வரவேற்கிறோம்! Welcome to Singapore! You’ve got an overnight stay here but I had two caches that I was targeting which would take some time. First up was to climb Singapore’s highest mountain - Bukit Timah. It was a sweaty climb of 163 metres through a lovely stand of rain forest. 🇸🇬

Before heading to the airport for you late flight, I took you to the original Din Tai Fung for some soup dumplings. There are a million Din Tai Fungs now, I even have one a few minutes walk from my house in Manila, but hey, I had to drink the Cool Aid and line up for the original. It took 50 minutes to get a table. When we left, the wait time was up to 170 minutes and growing. 🥟

Your last full day in Taipei. You spent it doing a bit of caching and then heading to Daan Park for an event and some group FTFs. The 26 hectare park is very popular with local residents and lots of them were here today to see the azalea displays. 🌸
